Ive been wearing Arai helmets since the 80's. I just switched to the Shoei RF 1200. I'm diggin it. I got the flat black finish. It doesn't show finger prints, and its easy to clean off bug strikes. And it's a nice contrast to the shiny vivid black paint. It has the clearest face shield I've ever looked thru. The seals for the face shield work well even in heavy rain. Easy face shield changes between smoked and clear. It's quiet, but I can still hear the radio. It channels wind well in the upright riding position, or tucked. The vents work well when the face shield is closed, not as good when its open.
