just wondering if anyone has an experience with an amplifier that is not factory for a 2014 SGS. Thanks

Yep, I have an Arc Audio 600.4 XDI installed. I highly recommend using one of their amps.

Thanks bryan0994. I'll definitely check them out. Do you know what you had your radio flashed to?

Rockford Fosgate 300x2 and also the Biketronics 7.1 speakers, extremely happy with that so far.

I had it flashed to show 8 speakers and no amp. Some dealers will do this for free and some will charge for it. My previous set up was a rockford 300x4 PBR amp with Polk speakers and this new set up blows it way.

Bryan did you change out speakers as well? If yes to what??

The amp you are showing is @$654 dollars is that the right one???

I put in Focal 165 KRC in the fairing and Focal 570ac in the lids. I got a package deal from Peter with Soundz. He was running a special at the time so everything was $1400.

That's a GREAT price!!! I wish I could hear the Focals ( 165's and 570's ) right next to a set of Rokker 6.6's and 570's......

I wonder ( by ear ) if you really tell the difference... specs are close. Amps would have to be the same... but the Rokker 500x4 and Rokker speakers against the Arc Audio 600.4 XDI and Focals would be interesting to say the least.

I did a ton of reading before choose my set up, there is a good page on Facebook for bagger stereos, for speakers the top of the line right now is Hertz and Focals and for amps it's either JL Audio or Arc. I contacted a couple of different dealers and told them what I'm looking for and what I listen to and both of them recommended the same set up. I'm very happy with it.

I've visited their FB... lots great info there on audio for sure.

Since the start of this thread... I have pulled the trigger ( as most, if not all of you know ) on a GREAT system..... and now I am totally glad I went the route I did.

Not going into details since I already have in other threads, but TO ALL that are in the quest for an upgrade ( amp, speakers or both)--- RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH... Don't jump on the first thing you see or hear that sounds good... keep researching.... it will pay off in the long run.
