Does anyone know where to get an antenna that will fit with a tour pack on? Probably needs to be less than 10"'s long.

I have the Harley hidden antenna it seems to work fine, but I usually am listening to music on a thumb drive.

Unfortunately my hogtunes amp doesn't like the hidden antenna. The digital amp puts out an RF frequency and with the antenna being inside the fairing it picks up that RF and feeds it back into the radio. Need external super shorty antenna

I have also seen where guys have kept their stock antenna and unhooked the mounting bracket and placed it so the top of the antenna is under the seat... This could be a last resort option mabe? I believe I saw a YouTube video on how to do that.

Somewhere on here I have seen a picture of a shorty antenna and it's only about 6 inches long so keep looking. If not do the antenna under the seat that seems to be what everybody else is doing. I have the hidden and it leaves a lot to be desired so far.

A guy I work with has his stock antenna bent at the bracket and zip tied...hidden along the fender strut I believe ... He said it works like stock and I could not tell it was there. I'll see if I can get details and pics. He runs the chopped tour pak.

When you get to this website type 'stubby antennas' or 'shorty antennas' into the search box.
If you can't find a product you like here chances are you won't find it anywhere.

I have the HD hidden antenna and it sucks. I think I'm going to go back to the stock antenna and hide it under the seat. I've heard good things about doing it that way.

I have a short rubber antenna on my bike. I bought it from my local H-D dealer. I'm quite sure it's a Biketronics antenna. Part #4401-0027. Ebay has it for about $25.

The bent stock antenna works. Remove saddle bag. Take out the left bolt holding on the antenna bracket...(left facing the primary side of your bike) remove antenna... Bend at base (antenna)as needed...you can adjust by leaving the bracket bolt out and tilting the bracket as needed. Run antenna along frame rail( where the seat rests on the frame) I ran mine behind the fender strut. Tighten bracket bolt... Leave other one out. Use a little blue loc tite on it. Zip tie antenna to frame rail. Replace saddle bag ...There is a couple of sites you can google!

The dealership just cut my stock antenna short for install of my tourpak. Seems to receive just fine to me.

Thanks for reposting that video, I saw it before, but couldn't find it again.

It seems like the antenna rubbing the frame would cause static . . . doe it not?

Yeah, it's a bit cold here these days :(
