15 2018's arrived at a local dealer today, going to check them out Saturday. One sold already. 1 2018 Road Glide Special gone!

The CVO's have 117 motors in them. I did not see that coming so soon with the 114 motors having been in production for only one year. I think the CVO RG looks the best. It has a 21" front wheel and a nice looking front fender. Oh, and did I mention they want $42K for them?

It's time to cut the cord with your bike. Now available for '14-later Touring and Trike models equipped with Boom! Audio 6.5GT Radios, this Wireless Headset Interface Module (WHIM) lets you communicate with your bike without being wired to it. The WHIM Bluetooth adapter permits wireless connectivity to the 6.5GT Infotainment system, allowing you to communicate via CB radio, hear turn-by-turn GPS directions, listen to your favorite radio stations and so much more all through your Bluetooth®-enabled headset.

Bluetooth® wireless technology
Integrated into the 6.5GT Radio
Wireless interface permits full access to the Infotainment features without the hassle of being connected to the bike
Seamlessly use all wired headset functionality (CB, Phone, Intercom, Navigation, Radio) without the compromises of aftermarket systems
Dual headset connectivity - two Bluetooth-enabled headsets can be connected to one WHIM
Module mounts behind the fairing and connects directly to the radio, eliminating external wires and connections to console and Tour-Pak communication port
Harley headsets utilize A2Dp protocol with the AptX codec for superior audio quality when compared to typical headsets utilizing Hands Free Protocol connection
Completely compatible with current H-D wireless headsets and volume can be adjusted from motorcycle hand controls
Fitment
Fits ’14-later Touring and Trike models equipped with a Boom! Box 6.5GT audio system. '14-'17 models require the separate purchase of Wireless Headset Interface Module Harness P/N 69201726. Installation on '14-'15 FLHTKSE models will result in reduced satellite radio reception. Dealer Digital Technician software update is required. Dealer installation is recommended.
Warranty - 1 year limited warranty
Sold in Unit - Each
In The Box - Wireless Headset Interface Module only
Sold Separately - Wireless Headset Interface Module Harness

New 2018 Street Glide Special in Twisted Cherry all blacked out is now in my garage. With the suspension and M-8 motor it is leaps and bounds better than my 2016. Plus I think it is just a sexy looking bike.

I'm still so pissed they released these all blacked out 6 months after I got my 17. I love my bike but it would have saved me time and money to just buy it all blacked out

Congrats Larry! Local dealers here have not posted on facebook that they have them in yet.

I figured at least one person would be upset by that and I do not blame you at all!

No new frame for 2018 Touring models, that went to the combined Dyna & SofTail model lineup.

Well I stopped by the dealer to return the fork fangs and looked at the 18s briefly. Nothing new really except they blacked out a lot of the engines. They didn't even have price tags in them yet

Their used lot is rather packed now. Guy said they've sold a few. I won't lie, the used 2017 limited with 3800 miles was sure calling me!

Got a private viewing yesterday of some of the 18's hours before they rolled them out on the floor to the public. If it weren't raining I would have taken a mono shock model out to see how it rides. No more Dyna's or V-Rods. I like the new LED headlights as standard and the small digital speedo on the Breakout. The Fat Boy looks sharp with the new wheels, nice wheels but I'm not sure about solid wheels. The new Breakouts have a smaller tank (1 gallon) I think it takes away from the looks. Be interesting to see if the new features/designs help to pick up slumping sales. No real change for the Street Glides other than colors.
