Battery maintainer pigtail

The battery pigtail on the bike is either not connected or it grounded out. When I connect the maintainer it doesn’t charge. I know I have to trace the cable to the battery connections but was just wondering if someone else has had this problem and could possibly guide me in a direction to save some time

Can you check for blown fuse on pigtail? Also get voltmeter and it should show battery voltage when connected to bike pigtail.

Have you tried connecting the tender directly to the battery?

Mine quit too.
I had to pull the side cover off and replaced the acc. fuse for it to work again.

Mine was the fuse as well, it only happened one time, when I first received the bike. ( plus bad battery)
