New Front wheel and shocks
New Front wheel and shocks

After riding my 1999 Road King Classic(RKC) since purchasing it new, I decided to add another bike to the stable. I found a very low mileage 2015 SGS Deep Jade Pearl. After a few riding miles I was astounded to find the SG didn’t ride or handle nearly as well as my RKC. So I added Legend Revo-A FLH-13” rear shocks and then Legend AXIO Front Shocks. The ride was greatly improved but the Handling(Steering) still left a lot to be desired. I decided to replace the 19” font wheel & low profile tire with a 17”Slicer Wheel and full profile tire, the change resulted in the new configuration having the exact same overall diameter as the 19” wheel configuration, so it had no adverse affect on the ABS. The difference in handling was amazing. The SGS now handles as I would expect a new bike to handle and equals my RKC. After spending $3,800, it now rides as it should. Harley Davidson is asleep at the switch, in my opinion.
