Easy pull clutch

I really hate the clutch pull on my 16 SGS. ARTHRITIS

So I changed last year to Rekluse semi-automatic clutch. The way Rekluse works is, while at idle it disengages clutch. So even when ur in gear bike does not move forward until u roll on the throttle. I like it in stop and go traffic. What I don't like is, you have to park it on a level ground. Cuz even if you leave the bike in first gear while parked, clutch is not engaged and bike will roll away. They give you a band to lock front break, but I've started to hate it using every time I stop. Second thing that I don't like is, bike manuverability in parking spaces. While ur steering bike in parking spaces, as soon as you roll the throttle to idle it disengages therefore now you don't have control of the bike. Which means you always have to have throttle rolling and revving the engine. I miss that throttle, clutch and rear brake control while steering in parking lots.

So I'm thinking on going back to factory clutch. Problem is the clutch pull. Goldwing and new Indians have smooth pulling clutch. How can I achieve that in SGS ?

Looked at Big burley clutch but it does not fit new touring models.

Any thoughts inputs will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I had the same complaint that you have regarding the stock clutch and I purchased the AIM VP clutch and billet pressure plate. Clutch lever pull is a lot easier now. I have over 8K miles on this setup and I'm very pleased with it.

I looked at this lever a while ago. I'm actually still considering this, or buying a new oem lever and having it cut, moved closer to the bar and rewelded. The only thing that I am uncertain of, is would the lever still be as strong as it was prior to welding? The lever pull on my bike is very easy with my current setup, but I just don't like that the lever has to be almost all of the way out before the clutch engages.

Same here. The soft brake lever is heated and bent. I believe this would be stronger than the recast metal and heat affected zone surrounding a weld.
