Hi I am new to this and I have a question about my street glide clutch. I just bought my first Harley street glide and it's an 2011 I bought it from the dealer as pre owned and it had 5377 miles. My question is should they have done a 5000 mile service when they took it in. The reason I ask is the clutch don't seem like it's working like it should. It seems like my gears drag some and I have heard some grinding sometimes between the gears. The clutch start to grab like 1/4" or less when I start to release it and if I have it in gear and pull the clutch in and start the bike the bike jumps forward. Should I try to adjust the clutch handle and clutch it self or take it to the dealer or is that how it's designed. Also it has aftermarket clutch cables which are braded and it doesn't have the stock adjustment in the cable. Please let me know if anyone can help me out. Thanks again

Could be as simple as you have too much or too little oil in the primary. It only takes about a quart, so for $10 you can drain and fill it and then you'll know (plus it's a good thing to change out the fluid anyway).

Anyway, I'd start there, and then try other things if need be
