I just received Hogtunes tweeterpod, 2 channel amp, and replacement fairing 5.25 speakers. Has anyone installed this upgrade? If so, how long did it take? Is it a 6 pack job, or a case with a bro helping kind of job?

I believe you can do yourself but I had a tech do my amp and speakers. Even he had problems with it. I would say if you know a lot about the electrical system you'll be fine. Or if you have a friend that knows electrical??

Just finished it up. Took about 3-1/2 hours. No real problems, just went slow with the directions. Wow, what a big difference in quality and loudness. Will post pictures soon.

Attached pictures. Speakers compared show stock on left and Hogtunes on right. Did the 2 fairing speakers, amp, and tweeter pod.

I went with same set up. I want the fairing lowers next.

Lower fairings are a little to warm for me, thinking about bag lid speakers, but I will more than likely just stick with the setup I have now. I haven't been able to get any measurable miles on the new setup yet because of northern Illinois crappy weather, but in the garage it was an amazing difference in sound.
