Improving Passenger Comfort

Hello, just joined. Always had Softails, first SG (2014). I really like the bike. As you guessed, Daytona Blue! I added tall bars to keep the riding position that I was used to on the Softails, chromed the front end, and added chrome wheels, and Cary Foss Slip-ons. Backrest for my bride. My issue is that my wife doesn't seem to be transitioning well from the Softail, and isn't as comfortable as she was on the old bike. Just wondering if anyone else has gotten complaints from their passengers, and what they did to correct? Thank you in advance.

Lol! Could anyone recommend a seat that would allow her to sit up higher. She's only 5' nothing and can't see over me on this bike like she could on the Softail. I also think passenger floor boards would help, as she's not use to the additional vibration with the rubber mounted engine. Probably a taller windshield cause there is more wind on this bike. I see the $$ adding up!! Lol.

At 5'... there are 3 adjustment s for the pass foot pegs... make sure you have them in the top hole for her leg comfort as well

Head to your dealer and demo some seats... BRING HER WITH YOU! let her choose her comfort... thays what I did... now she cant complain and wont complain since she picked out the seat and backrest

If it's affordable for you I installed the king Tour Pack with the added speakers so she can hear the music. And if she not riding it comes off. Which seems to be never. She bugs me to go riding .

I wish my wife would bug me to go riding ! She is definitely not a "bikerette"!

WOW I'm liking the looks of that HD Hammock seat with the std sissy-bar that seat was kinda in my bucket list of up-grade's I want to keep the girlfriend happy she has not complained yet with the std seat but I have also not taken her on any real long ride's yet that she has had to sit for more then an hr.

Well Fluffy my wife never complained but when i did the Demo Reduced Reach Seat from harley she was like.....
"You NEED this seat!!! You are so much more comfortable at stops, and putting your feet down! You are going to buy this seat!!" When i did buy it 2 days later and held it up next to stock seat.... Her space was more than Doubled compared to stock seat!!! She is happy now till we pull trigger on King Tour Pak soon..

Thanks for all the great advise guys! I think I'll try the following in this order:

Adjust Shocks
Passenger Floor Boards
Taller Wind Shield
New Seat

If that don't work, I'll find a Girl Friend !!

LOL
