I did it, this past week I had the Thunder Max iRide system installed on my 17' SGS. I kick my self, should have done it long ago. Being vertically challenged I had lowered the bike by installing shorter shorts. Yeah I could touch flat foot but the ride was horrible, felt every little crack in the road and even small pot holes were painful on my back.

System includes a small monitor/controller mounted on the handlebars. This is used also to monitor the ECM. Will display AFR front and rear, head temp, speed, RPM, voltage, air temp, spark timing, manifold pressure, MPG and more.

The system is computer controlled, you set the 3 settings. Stop, rolling up to 30 mph (city) and over 30 (highway). I have mine set at 1/2" for stop, 2" for city and 2 7/8" for highway. The ride at city and highway is far better than the stock shocks, the fact that I have a great ride and it drops to a 1/2" as I stop is the best of both worlds. There is also a fixed setting, set to your liking.

It is a little pricey at $2,500 installed but for me worth every penny. System was installed by Cycle Solutions who I highly recommend.

They are at all the big bike events, you can find them at The Lonestar Rally Galveston TX, Thunder Beach Panama City FL, Biketoberfest Daytona FL, Myrtle Beach Fall Rally, Bikes, Blues and BBQ Eureka Springs AR, Ocean City Bikefest, Roar to the Shore Wildwodd NJ, Easy Riders Chillicothe Ohio, Sturgis, Leesburg, Americade, Laconia and more.

I highly recommend them, Chris Wadell the owner is a real knowledgable, honest and super nice guy. While they are on the road a lot their shop is in my back yard, only 12 miles from my house. Check out their website.
