So in the wake of this latest shooting, they are cancelling gun shows left and right. They cancelled our local one. Wife wanted to drive to Nashville this weekend so she can get me a Kimber 1911 for Christmas. They are holding the show as scheduled but cancelled all future shows. It's supposed to be a madhouse, so she's taking me to Gander Mountain tonight.

In Washington state you can't buy a gun as a gift without running a background check on the person receiving the gift...doesn't matter if its your husband, wife, daughter, nephew, son....its crazy.
