Led turn signals question

I just bought some led 1157 bulbs on eBay for my 2012 SG. Was wondering if I need a load equalizer or if the stock blinker module will handle the LEDs. I bought 12 bulb LEDs that fit in the stock 1157 signal outlets. I also have KuryAkyn blind spot mirrors which have integrated LED signals in them and they work great with standard incandescent 1157 bulbs in the stock locations.

Any one out there with electrical knowledge able to let me know whether or not I need a load equalizer?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You will most likely need to go with a load equalizer when you install the new LEDs. The reason being is because the LEDs do not produce as much load as a regular bulb which makes the bike think that there is a bulb burned out thus causing them to flash quickly. Adding a load equalizer will counteract this and make them function properly.

Hopefully that helps!

Thanks for the feedback. Which load equalizer do you recommend, and does your shop carry them?
