Liquid teflon on oil drain plugs or no

Do i need to put liquid teflon on my oil drain bolts? I thought the orings did that

No. I’ve been changing the fluids on my 14 SG for 7yrs…I’ve only used new rubber o-rings, and sometimes I didn’t even change those if they were in good shape

I would go with a sealant rather than tape for that extra insurance. This is what i use:

For what it’s worth, I work at a Ducati shop and we use it on every drain plug in addition to the crush washer.
