Nav system stuck on one location

Just got back from a 2K west coast ride. During the trip i used the restaurant locator to find us some food. I deleted the location but since then, the system is still trying to take me there! Annoying! Even when Nav is off, it still interrupts the radio a thousand times to tell me turn info. Anyone have this problem? I will try disconnecting the battery and then reconnect to see if that works. ALSO, the Nav system is extremely dumb in that it trys to take roads that are too soon off the main road (causing allot of back street driving and turns) Maybe i just dont know how to use it propery.

Have you tried setting a new location then hitting stop trip?

Yes this radio is a hoot sometimes. You'd think muting the prompts would prevent the music interruptions but no, you have to fully disable them via settings. Mine says I've been on a trip for 700 miles but then that number will go up and down daily. (didn't know I could ride a negative distance)
