Hi everyone. i am new here , i dont ride a streetglide as of yet, i am looking to trade my 99 fatboy in to get one. just wondering which years r the best. hearing alot of good things about the 09s. can anybody help.

They are all good. 09 was is when the chassis was slightly changed!...

The 09's and up have improved handling feels better cornering and feels more secure at higher speeds... All SGs have great handling to begin with... It's just MO... I have heard that even my 12" shakes more at idle than 08" no biggie I'm sure you will find what your looking for....

thanx for the info.your 12 has the 103 right. could that be the more shake.

I think after the frame redesign in '09 they made the 103 optional in '11? Then it was the standard motor in '12 and on...from what I've seen, when you get back to the '06-'08 models, you usually find more mods on them - if it's mods you'd have done, then you're in good shape...if not, well, you were gonna mod it anyhow, right?
