Just got my street glide, was kinda wondering if people are having problems with their rear bags getting scratched up by having passengers and if the leather covers for the top of them are worth it... dont like the look but id rather cover them than have them all scratched.

I'd take a look at these clear bag protectors. Definitely much nicer looking than the leather covers but I'm not sure how difficult they are to install.

I put leather bag covers on my sg as my 7 yr old seemed to want to rub her feet on the tops of bags (lol) that's all I could do goin down the hwy was tell her hey get your boots of my bags...LOL I put a set on and now I don't worry about it...
Is $109 reasonable price for that cool looking lid covers ?
Sometimes clear plastic becomes grey or brown by sunlight. Somebody has expierences with that cover ?
