Rear Fender Light

Not sure what your asking...maybe its to late, do you want a lower fender light? you can probably get aftermarket.
The very tip of the rear fender has a grated área that has a light in the US bikes ( not the turn signal /stop) but below that. For some reason this seems to be an accesory on the bikes sold internationally. I was wondering if anyone knew who sold the light kit. I couln't find it on J&P.
This light assembly you are referring to is called a Tri-bar and you can find them on EBay used stock from around 50 bucks to the Customer Dynamic upgraded ones 175.00 plus

i HAD THE SAME PTOBLEM.
WHEN I REMOVED THE TRI BAR ASSEMBLY IT WAS EMPTY INSIDE SAVE FOR A CIRCUIT BOARD THE CONDUCTS FROM TH INPUT SOCKET TO THE OUTPUT SOCKET.
BUT THOSE FIENDISH hARLEY GUYS HAVE NOT DONE A STRAIGHT THROUGH.
I BOUGHT THE CUSTOM DYNAMICS led BOARD AND WIRED IT UP TO THE ORIGINAL.
THE RESULT WAS A GOOD BRIGHT DRIVING LIGHT AND A VERY BRIGHT BRAKE LIGHT.
IT WAS A BIT OF A MISSION AS YOU HAVE TO DISASSEMBLE THE ORIGINAL WITH A HEAT GUN, AND OF COURSE YOU SACRIFICE THE CUSTOM DYNAMICS.
ALL IN ALL WORTH IT THOUGH.

My tri bar light was plug and play. No removing anything from the stock, it replaced the complete stock unit.
The tribar light is empty inside - nothing!
I bought the custom LED upgrade but would not work.
I had to sacrifice the CD housing and use only the LED board and wire it myself.
However it was worth the hassle - very bright and great brake light.

Update on the rear tri-bar. Took my bike in for service and had them add the LED tail lite and LED tri-bar light. Had the mechanic wire it so the rear tail light, the tribar and both directionals light up on braking. Really liking the amount of light back there now. Also changed out to LED center light and added LED passing lights. Really added to my road visiblilty.
In Australia we get the international version with an empty tri light. There is a member of another forum who has sourced the lights specifically wired for the international version. $245 Australian posted anywhere in Australia. A custom dynamics product but made for the international model. I don't know why they don't just advertise it. He ordered 100 units to start and sold out the first run before delivery.
Will you share your source of the lights, as i called custom dynamics and they say that they dont make a tribar unit for he international model.

Personally I'd say it worked out for you IMO the CD tri bar run/brake light is a better upgrade then HD version of the same.
Get on your bad motor scooter and ride
We dont't have that fender light here in Finland because our license plate is so big and ugly, you can't see that light behind plate...
