Riding season

All depends on your temperature tolerance but more importantly, your geographical location.

Likewise to a degree, living in Northern Minnesota, my riding season begins sometime in April as well. BUT I won't take my glide on the roads until the first good rain which will wash the winter's salt residue away. White salt powder is an absolute chrome killer.

March or April around this part of Nevada with the winter we are having right now.

Here in AZ I ride year round. Worse case there is a month where the bike doesn't get much love.

Yup.....if it's not raining we are riding.......and we get about 10 - 12 days of rain a year so.......................:D

Yeah I hear you on the salt powder. I usually start the bikes and my sports car once a month during winter and if the road is dry and there is no sign of salt powder I will take them around the block in my sub-division. Which really rarely happens.

When does your riding season start. I live on the coast in Eastern Canada and we can reasonably start riding in late April.

Arnold,

Hi Arnold...
We are located in Charlotte, North Carolina and while we did have a snow / ice storm over the weekend (all melted now), we can realistically ride nearly 11-12 months a year. Certainly there are some really cold days where you'd have to wear warm riding gear, for the most part the temperatures are pretty mild for year round riding. Perhaps this is why there are so many Northerners relocating to the area. lol

Lindsey :0)

Here in Washington only a few days where it's icy and just isn't safe to ride. Other than that I ride year round...a lot of times in the rain, but if you can't handle riding in the rain then your scoot will rarely see action here.

Here in rural northeast Georgia we can ride most every month if you choose your days. I got to ride yesterday for the first time in 10 weeks, but my issue was health. I damaged my shoulder and feared I was going to need rotator cuff surgery, but it slowly got well enough for me to ride again. Dang, it was good to be on the bike again. When I got back home, my wife commented about the big smile on my face.

Got my Rotator Cuff surgery over the winter, healing fine now. Hope you don't have to go through it !

What's a riding season? Hah! Sorry! Down here in central Florida you can ride year-round!
