Sell or trade KOMODO for Black Earth Fade 2018 CVO Limited or not?

Last weekend my wife and I spied a 2018 CVO Limited in Burgundy Cherry Sunglo Fade and we both took a liking to it right away. This color is beautiful! The only thing that could have made it pop a little more would have been black engine case covers and black exhaust. My wife wants me to have this bike very badly. She says I can keep KOMODO too. While that's awfully nice of her to say that, I just don't think having two expensive bikes makes a lot of sense to me. Besides, I have put a lot of money, blood and sweat into making KOMODO fit me perfectly. There isn't another one like it that I know of and it can outrun a 2017 CVO with a cam, full exhaust, tuner and an experienced rider/racer. The guy at the dealership asked me what I was riding and when I told him, he said my bike couldn't' outrun a 2018 with the 117 motor. Not only do I think he is wrong, but dead wrong with his assumption. Having said all of that, I do like the looks of the Black Earth Fade 2018 CVO Limited better than the Burgundy Cherry Sunglo Fade because it is completely blacked out? All it needs is a pair of slip on mufflers and it's done. My wife keeps telling me she wants us to buy the bike, but I am torn here, because I love KOMODO and don't want to part with him. BTW, my wife has even called the dealership and tried to negotiate the best deal possible for this bike. What to do, what to do?

If you have the Coin go for it, We don't live but once. Besides A happy wife is a Happy life most of the time, Mine would Smack me up side the head if I even looked at the CVO .. I would love to have one, But we are very happy with the SGS.. The more bikes the better Is my opinion.

Keep Komodo and find an incredible painter! A paint job will be $$$ but less than a CVO.

Here's how I look at it;

Pro: CVO's are nice no doubt they look good. Bigger motor if you are into power.
Cons: Almost twice the cost of a regular SG. CVO only parts/paint. You lose space in the saddlebags because of the amp. Saddlebags are not fully extended bags only partial.

You have spent a bit of $$$ making your bike the way you like it, and it probably cost way less than a CVO. As suggested by Timcza, do a custom paint job and it's still way less. I learned a lesson with my '14 DBP paint, next SG I purchase will be a plain color and I'll have a paint job done that's not almost impossible to match and still be less costly than a CVO.

Now if $$$ is no object, then have both. Or, you could get a new '18 and swap the custom parts off your old bike to the new one if you just want a new bike.
