All,

Got my bike back from the shop today with a new problem. Brought it in for the 25,000 mile service; picked it up with a shake and shimmy that I've never experienced before. Oh, he did change the front brakes, which I suspect may have something to do with it.

I first noticed when I began downshifting in my neighborhood to make the slow tighter turn onto my street. When I would slow down, with clutch engaged, I started experiencing a real distinct rattle in the engine. I rode around through the neighborhood just to make sure I wasn't imagining. Once I was certain this was in fact a legitimate issue, I headed back to the shop. When I got back on the main drag, going about 45-50, I slowed down just a bit and engaged the clutch, and there came the shakes again. It does seem more pronounced on the left side of the engine, but I'm not 100% certain.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

The clutch is engaged when the lever is out (not touching it). The clutch disengages when you pull the lever into the grip. Please confirm what you are describing.
