I have a 2014 that I put a 120/70 21 front tire on and used spacers to lift the stock front fender up for clearance. I am now interested in a wrap around style 21 inch fender, but have conflicting info on whether the tire will fit inside the 21 inch fenders 5 1/2 width. Some tell me it will be too snug, and to purchase a 23 inch fender instead, which is 6 inches wide.
Not sure how the 23 inch will look and fit with a 21 inch wheel. Anyone have any experience with this ? Thanks in advance.... Tonebone.

Are you going for the looks or are you facing issue with your current fender? I have 21" wheel/tire and did the same and even lowered my front 1" and not having any issues, plus looks quite nice......

Did you lower the stock fender? If so...do tell...please

I did not lower the fender, I had to add adapter to raise the fender to fit the 21" wheel/tire and no issues but keep in mind I am using Legend suspension all the way around.

This picture is before I switched exhaust from FP to D&D....but you can see the wheel setup with 1" lower on my front end.

I’m going for looks , purchased tire few years ago at Sturgis, they installed fender brackets at that time. Just looking for a new fender to show wheel off. Just ordered 23 inch fender per the vendor that had it. Wish I had seen the wider 21 inch fender before I had ordered it.
I’ll see how it looks and/ or fits when I get it. Can always return I guess if it just isn’t right. We’ll see, thanks again... Tonebone

I’m hoping I can mount the 23 inch fender to the 21 inch bracket, add spacers and it will fit correct. If too much tire clearance, maybe can redrill the fender to set a little lower.

I ordered a 21- inch wrap fender from The factory match over three years, 30,000 miles ago. It came with the adapter brackets, color was spot on (Denim Black- which ain't easy). Quality, looks, fit and finish are all premium and after all the miles, the fender still looks new.. It is the only place I would consider buying factory color parts. I'm just touting a quality product. I think it cost me about $600.

Well, I ordered and received the 23 inch fender for my 21 inch wheel. Mounted easily, but had too much tire to fender clearance for my liking , go figure right?
Sent it back and am going to order the 6 inch wide 21 inch fender as recommended here. Thanks for the input .... tonebone

Keep us posted with 6" wide 21" fender. I may do the same a bit later as I like the looks of it also.
