Turning in a narrow space

The parking for my Street Glide is at the bottom of an incline.
So I either have to go in forward and push back out, OR make a U turn and back in.
Both are a PITA!
I don't have enough space to turn my bike around in the parking - UNTIL NOW!

Built this a couple of weeks ago from bits and pieces - cost about $100.
And it makes parking a dream.

Looks like it wasn't too bad to fab up! Right up my alley! If I ever have the need for it, I will build one! There might be some market for that.... ( hint , hint )

Very slick. I'm certain that somebody will see this on the tube and build 'em to market. I can think of at least 3 of my riding friends that need one RIGHT NOW.
At present, I'm lucky enough to have a detached 48'X32' cbs man cave (toy box) about 20 yards from our home, but if we ever down size... I'd want one for sure.
WELL DONE.
 
That already exists, but you did great. There are tons out there, Motorcycle dollies. My concern is always how hard are they to get off of.

Your ingenuity was great and it solved your issues - 2 thumbs up.
 
Now that is cool, good job making it happen. Have seen several different kinds of those the last couple years and most ride on and stuff the bike into a corner or the turn around like yours. Have a friend who uses hers to turn her ultra around to get out of her garage.
 
I had the same issue so I sold it but if it's mounted like in the video then it works really good, that's if there is enough room to turn it around but in my situation I have no room....this is a great idea.....way to go!

It is not my invention, but I adopted the ones I saw for the reason you mention.
I just get on the bike and drive off, and it's ready for my return.

Hulkss and aviator, that's the secret.

The base is screwed to the floor, and the ramp turns on a slewing bearing so it can't move only in a circle.
When I ride on and turn round I just have to get on the bike and ride off and it's ready for my return.

Now if only I could motorise it! :cool: :eek:
 
I noticed the center pivoting right off the bat which is a VERY good way to keep it stable while mounting and dismounting.
 
I just use a craftsman motorcycle life to turn mine around in my garage. then remove the lift and put it off to the side.
