The 1st aftermarket LED headlight that I find tempting

Pistol-
I have the gap too even with the Daymaker. I think thats just the way HD desinged the ring.
FLHXSRider- got yours installed yet?

Nah it's sitting at the courier and they're a crappy one because they don't allow pickups after 5PM and I work until 6. I'll have to wait until next Monday :(

I purchased the Visor style trim ring for my TL7 and I have a 1/8 gap at the screw. Not sure if anyone has an idea as how to eliminate it. I have tightened it up as far as I can without stripping the screw head. Maybe an Allen cap?

I got my Truck-Lite installed a few days ago. I had heard about the new light sticking out farther but wanted to see what it looked like in person before I bought the trim ring. I didn't like it and bought a trim ring to cover it up. I haven't seen any pics online yet that shows what this looks like so I included one.

Pistol Pete I have the same problem with my trim ring (p/n: 67700215). Like you, I tightened it up as far as I could but the gap is still there. Mine is probably closer to a 1/4" though.

In general I would say the light is a big improvement over stock but not as much as I would have expected. The main thing I noticed was that, as advertised, it really is a white light in comparison to a standard bulb. It really lit up the road signs well and the range was pretty good. Mine did seem to be a little patchy almost like the "reflectors" inside weren't quite lined up but visually the light itself looks fine. Overall, for the money I spent I'm happy with it.
