A friends dad gave him his bike cuz he just can’t ride it anymore.
‘99 bagger, 88” T/C, 56k on the clock
His dad bought it new and had gear drive cams installed shortly after he bought it. About all we know. No paperwork on anything. I may pull the cover and peak inside for him to verify this.
Well, my buddy said he talked to his dad earlier today and his dad told him that he remembers the local Indy telling him that he might have a seal going in the oiling system. Said that sometimes it seems like not all the oil drains back after it cools. Like a quart is left in the crankcase. Something to that effect anyway.
Can any of you shed some light?
