The HK radio's are designed here in MI and I know someone on the design team and he told me that they have redesigned the radio to a larger device with a touch screen - not as large as an iPod but larger then the current HK. He wouldn't go into the details but it is pretty obvious what you could do with a larger touch screen interactive device on the inner fairing. He also said that he has ridden a water cooled vtwin - he said that Harley is having all their vendors/suppliers test ride them to provide tons of feedback, etc.

Would be nice if a new radio would retro fit into the older bikes. If they are changing the size it would be tough though.
