Hello, I'm new to the Audio game and was looking for some tips. My left speaker is starting to go in and out. I haven't pulled off the fairing to see if it's just loose wiring. Considering I'm going to be in there anyway, I was looking to do a little upgrade. I have a Rockford Fosgate PBR300X1 mono block amp that my father gave me a couple years ago off of his 2013 street glide. He pulled it off when he went to trade it in and never installed it on his new bike. After doing some looking. The amp is rated at 150W RMS @ 2 OHMs. If I wire two 4 OHM speakers in Parallel, that should knock them down to 2 OHMs. If I keep my speakers in the 150W RMS range. I should be safe. If I'm wrong please feel free to correct. Maybe I'm looking at it too simplistically.
