After seeing Mandrew's project on the custom timing cover, it gave me some ideas. First I don't know if I should thank or blame you Mandrew for the dent that is about to go into my wallet lol. I have been looking for a long time to have the Harley Police symbol on my bike, but no luck. So I will have that most likely engraved on my fuel lid and go with something different on one of the covers. Since I am a certified CSI / Evidence Tech. I was thinking about having a job related engraving, but I am stuck on ideas. I was thinking of having either the grim reaper or skull and cross bones in the center with crime scene tape running from end to end; then putting some tools of the trade in the corners such as a finger print, a chalk outline, a magnifying glass and hand gun. Even maybe a little saying over the top, " my day begins when your day ends" or something like that. I did the SWAT thing for quite a few years but had to give it up because of orthopedic issues and constantly aggravating the injuries, so I also thought about that. So any thoughts, ideas and anyone good with computer imagery or drawing to help me get this to fruition ?
