This sounds to me like the audio got turn off somehow. Push and hold the on/off button (bottom right button on the special) until the audio system comes on and see if that works.

Well after playing with mine a little more, I noticed two things: 1) I use a USB drive for music and although I can go into the menu and select whatever song or artist I want to listen to, once selected, I can't select the next or previous song using the left control and that song just repeats over and over, and 2) everything seems slower when using controls to selected the source, volume, or navigate through the menus. I guess its back to 1.20.1 for me.
yep... this has happened to many of us.....
Just shut the bike off for 2-3 minutes.... this is all I did.....
I reverted back to 1.20.1 and so far... not instances of a dead head unit for me.....
Weird problems you all are having. I let my bike sit for two days since the update. 
But I just got back from a 30 mile test-ride where-in the radio and heated gear were "tested" as well as the battery charged. Ah hell, I went for a ride! LOL
Any way, the radio works normally for me after the two updates. I even shut the bike off to get gas and the radio came right back up. I hope it works out for every one.
