Gauges cutting out while riding

For about the last couple of months I've noticed my gauges will just cut out for a few seconds and come back on. The bike doesn't die and the lights stay on. Everything seems to be working fine. The trip meter, tach and speedo just go dead for a few seconds. Anybody else who's had this issue?

I would check to make sure the wiring harness is snapped together good. Seems like it's loosing connection for a second or 2 with your description.

I'm going to track down the wiring to check for a short. I noticed a slight electrical shock when my leg touched the a/c cover right then the gauges cut out again. Only a couple of seconds. Thanks.

Brews its probably the VSS ( variable speed sensor) located under the starter, at least that's where it is on my 2014 SGS. The VSS controls input to the speedo and several other functions... R/ Mike

I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to the power vision. Any time I have it connected, after it warms up, it starts cutting off the gauges. I've called dynojet and they told me to re route the cable. They said they've never heard of this before. Pretty standard response. Now that I've got some free time back, I'll re route it this weekend and see. I've been riding to work and back without it plugged I and it didn't go out once.
