Has anyone hear used the lowering blocks to drop the rear an inch or so? I'm adding bag extensions and would want to lower rear a bit to cover wheel.
Suggestions/Opinions please??

I have not used lowering blocks but I did add a DIY air ride using Monroe air shocks. With them you can lower at least an inch. Of course you will have to be concerned about bottoming out the shock. But......the ride is great!

I hear that the blocks can bring it down 1 inch but I need more info.

Air ride sounds nice too!

I've used M.A.C. Fabrication 1" lowering blocks on my 14 SGS, they worked fine with no rubbing. I'm running a 21" wheel on the front so I put in a progressive lowering kit with a 1-1/2" drop to keep my geometry the same front and rear. If you are sure you wont want it up or down from the 1" then I highly recommend them. I have since done a DIY Air Ride with the Monroe shocks and Viair compressor, very inexpensive to purchase everything needed and easy to install.
