Well after taking home my new bike today my helmet is still rattling with all the wind buffeting. I'd love me to get an LRS shield based on all the discussions but I'm afraid their smallest (7") will be to tall for me. I'm 5'7" on a good day. Thoughts or recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I don't have a 7" LRS windscreen, but I do have a 7" HD Windsplitter and I am 5'7" tall. I can clearly see over the windscreen and it isn't anywhere near being too tall for me.

How do you like the wind splitter? How's the buffeting?

I like it a lot and have no plans to change it out. I've ridden 1143 miles (two up) round trip in a weekend with it a few months ago. I haven't experienced any buffeting with it.

Kawi guys loved the Clearview also. Just afraid that even their small or Sport will be too tall for me. But I may take a shot with one or the LRS.

I'm 5'8 and love the Clearview Small, Smoke, ReCurve model for buffeting issues.

How high are you looking above the shield? I'm thinking a Sport may work for me. Thanks for your help.

My line of sight is just above the shield but the recurve pushed the air over my helmet.

Demoed the 7" Wind Splitter also and while my line of sight was fine I was still get the buffeting. At least I know the 7" will fit me well no matter what brand. I also tried the 10" but it was directly in my sight.

I'm 5'10", I cut a piece of cardboard & taped it to my windshield then sat on the bike in the shop to see how far I could see in front of my bike looking over the windshield, I think that I could have got an 8" & it would have worked good too.

I also use this wind deflector

And these Adjustable Air Deflectors

Are the Harley air deflectors what are commonly referred to as "fork fangs"?
