My 14 Amber Whiskey SGS

Looks good.
How did you do the chrome trim around the gauges? The harley kit says you have to use the black mounting plate.
I want to put the chrome trim on like you have without the black plate.

There is a kit from HD:

Thanks all for the comments!

mean green, it was a pain in the a$$ but I used two sided tape on the inside of each ring about a 1/4" wide all the way around each one. I stuck the one side to the inside and had a little tail sticking out of the non stick part that covers the sticky part. I then fitted the chrome rings in and rotated until it looked centered exactly and held it in that position while pulling the little white tail to uncover the sticky side and boom they are then firmly in place and going nowhere. It takes a lot of patience but it was worth it. Oh yeah just remembered I also had to grind down the bottom of the rings with a dremel where they where sticking out too far because of the difference between the plate that is being eliminated. But there are no gaps anywhere and they fit perfectly, just takes some time and a few bottles of attitude adjustment.

Mojo, yep Inner Fairing Trim Kit-61400199 is the kit I used but I didn't want to use the black plate they are designed to fit into on my painted inner fairing and didn't want to spend what it would cost to paint just the little black plate so I decided to get inventive.

RobertE- I used the kit I gave the part number for but with a spin.
I got some Carbon Fiber contact paper and added to my plain gloss back plate provided in the kit. Since my inner fairing was already gloss black it added a nice touch!

Mojo, that looks really good with the black and carbon fiber and chrome. That's what I would have done if my inner fairing wasn't painted.
