Now to figure out iron sights/optics for it. Can't wait to shoot it.

Well...depends on what you're planning on using it for. With a barrel that long, I'm sure you're going to try and reach out and touch something...

There are quite a bit of sights & scopes out there.....AR15.com is a good place to be on for a lot of info.

I like Aimpoint PRO for tactical use....for long range shooting there are so many to pick out there.

I am hearing ban on AR15 rifles again......these politicians will try to disarm us every chance they get.... :-(

I have a Meprolight MEPRO21 on my tavor and a vortex strikefire II on my AR. Both are very good optics, I would recommend either one.

Second the strikefire. I bought the v1 right before the 2s were available, but my friend and shooting buddy bought the strikefire 2. The 2 is a little brighter, glass seems identical and it loses the troublesome nvg button. We shoot in the AZ desert and the sight is plenty bright enough to see any time.

I got to compare the strikefire to an aimpoint pro out in the desert and I gotta say for the price I'll stick to the vortex. Compared to the pro, it isn't quite as bright nor does it have a ridiculously long battery life but the brightness changes are more gradual (the pro went from uber bright on 10, to rather dim, like the #7 setting on a vortex, on #9) and the glass has a slight blue tint. Still very clear and bright transmission. As long as you don't need to leave it on for months (or years), I'd get the vortex.

**the pro will dim significantly after about a month of being on. Don't be fooled into thinking you'll get 100% brightness for the full battery life. It's still impressive though!

I have lots of suggestions for you but what are you going to do with it lots of rapid fire or precision placing the bullet where you want it ???

I am open for suggestions for both actually as I see another AR in my future...lol

For tactical, I like the EOTech sights. For sniper type shooting, I have a 9X Nikon scope. The Remington 870, AR-15 and AR-10 all have EOTech sights. Every now and then I swap the EOTech out for the scope on the AR-10. I'm thinking I'll add a 3X magnifier to the AR-10 behind the EOTech. Hard to beat the EOTech for fast target acquisition and reliability. Mine have been under water. You can even blow the glass out of them and they still work.

Awesome! I was looking at a DD but ended up splurging on a JP-15 last week.

I may have a couple laying around just for fun but I have one that is finally tuned with a Leopold 3 to 9 AR scope with the turrets set up for my hand load out to 800 yards. Never thought an out of the box Stage arms with a 24 inch bull barrel would be this accurate but surprise surprise it shoots really good. Have a couple other M4 types with one set up with an aim point the other with iron sights. Been thinking about getting another site to replace the iron sites just haven't done it yet. Haven't done a lot of shooting the last year or so not much time for reloading or I'm just getting lazy. Most of my playing around lately has been with bolt guns getting ready for and going elk hunting.
