Picked up my 2015 Street Glide Special on Christmas Eve, my Christmas present to myself. Haha. Traded in my 2012 Heritage Softail Classic.
Less than 3 weeks after getting her I hit a soccer ball size rock in the road. Very dark road, saw it at the last second but it was too late. Took out my kickstand and put the frame crossmember up into the oilpan.
Ins. estimate was $5700...new frame and various other parts. Harley dealer had her a month, finally got her back last Saturday. They suggested since the labor would be covered by the ins. that I should consider adding stuff. So on went the V/H 4.5" HO slipons, V/H Fuelpak3, and Stage 1 air filter.
