Have always bought Dunlops for my Harleys but this time I bought Michelins. What to tire do you like and why?

Avon . on one of my old rides I kept burning through tires every 2000-5000 miles except for Dunlop which lasted 8000-10000 but was too hard and wouldn't get traction. I ran across the avon and was hooked . I still got close to 8000 depending on how many rolling burn outs I did and got a lot better traction than the Dunlop. even on my new Glide I had trouble with the Dunlop hooking switched to a 200/55/17 Avon and sticks like glue.

+1 for Avons

I might have to try Avons... I had Michelin's on my last bike and gripped great.

We personally ride with the Avon Cobras on both of our in-house bikes. In my opinion, these are a great looking and handling tire that provide a good about of mileage life.

Hope this helps!!

I have Avon Cobras on mine. Down to the wear bars in 6500 miles on the rear tire. Maybe my 120" motor is hard on tires?

One of my riding partners swears by Michelin's....a local tire shop competitively prices them below the Dunlop's...I'm on my second set of Dunlop's with 20k on the 1st set....
