Your cable could be damaged an easy way to check is plug in your smart phone and see if it plays/charges. Also check that:
> You used a properly formatted USB drive.
> You have your songs listed by name only, no number header in front.
> All songs are NOT in a folder but stored/listed separately at root level on the drive.
> The format is MP3.
Thanks for the feedback fellas!! I checked for connection problems,formatting is good and thumb works in other devices. I'll call dealer today, hopefully they can come up with a quick fix.
