Once again I tryed to take my 16 cvo to a local dealer that didn't sell it and was turned away. I will be calling HD heads Monday to explain my problem.

Wow it shouldn't matter if you bought it there or not. They should not have a problem working on your bike. Tells me one thing I wouldn't go back there again for anything.

I won't Tom!
They burnt this bridge!

I hate hearing stories like this. My dealer took care of me even though my first Harley I bought in Miami at Peterson's H.D. and had it shipped up. Then shortly after, I traded that bike in for my current one. I wont go anywhere else . They have treated me like family from day one. I will be buying my CVO from them when my time comes. There is another dealer in my area that caters to those with more money then common sense and they sold a bike out from a buddy of mine for more money than he was going to pay while he was on his way to the bank.

They said because there was a scuff in the bag that was replaced by another dealer to take it there. I said this is a new problem and they just didn't want to deal with it I guess.
It could be the move or they are just being um dinks to be polite.

Come on now- in this case the dealer is correct. You pull in with a scuffed bag and say another dealer did it, but you'd like them to fix it? If a particular dealer caused the damage, you need to take it to them and have it corrected, not ask some other dealer to eat the expense, especially since this sounds like it's not a warranty issue, but a case of damage incurred while getting service done, type of thing. The second dealer has no way of knowing who caused the damage- you or the other dealer, so you will need to hash it out with the dealer who you say caused it.

As I understand it he's trying to get the dealer to fix a radio issue, not the scuffed bag. The dealer refusing to do the work for the OP because he has an existing issue with another dealer is B.S.

Correct on this isn't a old problem it is a new radio code that needs plugged into HD and deleated. They are just being lasy. Last month after I baught the bike I spent 3k there so it's not like I don't spend $ there.
They have always treated me good this is why I don't understand. Until I purchased a bike from a different dealer

They are 'butt-hurt' over the fact you bought from another dealer....that is why all the fuss. They are being childish and holding a grudge. They feel like your loyalty is gone and therefor give you the cold shoulder.

I think that's it Spazz!

And if that Loyalty wasn't gone before it definitely will be now..........too bad dealerships are owned by people.....because sometime people just suck.

I bought my bike in Mesa but I do about any repairs needed in Chandler. They are less busy (Mesa said booked 2 weeks out, Chandler had me in next day) and they always get the bike done fast. Only con, they are borderline too thorough and almost always find something else to fix. That was a sentiment shared by another customer I was talking to as well!
