Glad you are recovering and it sounds like the surgery may have done some good. Stay in the fight and you will soon wish you were bored probably. LOL

How's things Spazz? Back up walking yet?

David
Thanks for asking !

I have 2 more weeks before I can walk on it. I have been going to physical therapy 3 times a weeks since 7 oct... I have full range of motion with the exception of hyper-extension. I am on weight training now building up to walking. No pain... just sore and week.

Won't be long now!!!

Semfer Fi Brother...Happy 240th!

He have a HUGE party Tuesday night... 40+ Brothers and family... gonna KICK IT like we did when we were younger.. maybe not so much.. LOL!!!

MAJOR UPDATE:

I have full range of motion.... started weight training on Monday. Going VERY well!!! I have little to no pain during workouts.

I STILL CAN'T WALK ON IT until 17 Nov when the DR says it's OK. I can stand on it and do calf raises like no tomorrow ( part of physical Therapy ).... so my muscles are starting to return slowly and gaining more control daily.

ONLY 10 DAYS and I can toss the crutches!!!!

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!!

I even had TomA and his wife Lisa surprise me.... rode out 275+ miles to visit and brought me some beer! Great friends are hard to find!

Not sure this winter is going to be good to us for riding weather this year. Will be in Reno again soon so maybe some more beer lol

How's the therapy going Spazz? Hope yours is going better than mine. I still have some pain in the knee when stepping up or sitting.

Back on two wheels yet Spazz or as least two legs? LOL

Well... I am progressing nicely. I am walking on my own.. sometimes. I have a week left on the fricken crutches. Progressively adding more and more weight each day.

The weird thing is... I have a bit of pain when I first wake up and get up... but then it fades. If I wear boots, I can almost walk normal.. unlike wearing my Vans. I still have a ways to go with rehab since I don't have full hyper-extension yet and it's painful for work on it... but feels better the next day.

There are some SERIOUS weak points, which I already know is gonna SUCK working my muscles back into shape.

I can say that I went for a nice ride Sunday... such a beautiful day! I couldn't help it! Wife grounded me and took my FOB ( SHHHH!!! She doesn't know I have TWO!!!)

Oh wow you throw it right out there lol I see a blackmail opportunity in your near future maybe see you in a half an hour or so. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Happy it's going good for you brother keep working at it and it won't be long.
