Screamin Eagle air filter issue

I have a 2014 SGS with a stage two upgrade. I am getting a noise/thumping out of the air filter area when idling and light riding. It goes away under heavy acceleration. My mechanic says that when I went to the Bassani DNT mufflers with the open megaphone the back pressure changed. I totally agree with that. However, the fairing seems to echo the noise. I have the screamin Eagle heavy breather (forward cone setup). Anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there anything that can be done for this?

Mine makes noise when I accelerate but they told me it would.

Did you change cams?

My previous Stage ll 2017 had swoosh noise issues as well. On my new SG I left the stock A/C but added a K&N re-usable air filter instead.
