Suspicious color??

NEED HELP, buying a used 2014 FLHX peace officer edition dark blue with no tank badge? Should I be suspicious? Has 1000 miles on it.. Need help ASAP

The vin number will tell you if its a special edition or not. The Shriners,Police & Fire are set prices from Harley new. Since I own a 14 Peace Officer Special Edition Street Glide I'd be curious why the badge was removed and if he still has it. I would approach with caution. As Blue stated you can get a better price on a new one and you have to be a LEO to buy new.

I saw a police bike at the local dealer here and it didn't have any badges on the tank either. That is if my memory serves right.

Is it a an actual police bike set up for law enforcement or a peace officer special edition? If its an actual police bike then no badges so the agency can have their patch put on the tank. It will also have a different setup for the controls and no radio / stereo and a empty spot for a police radio. A POSE looks just a standard (whatever model) so say street glide and the only difference from that and a regular street glide is the vin that tells HD its a special edition and the tank badge. On the 2015 HD now has a metallic sticker that either has fire fighter or police officer that the person can stick onto the top of the badge.
