Tell your Governor "Thank You"

If your state was one of those to tell Washington DC they will not accept any more Syrian refugees, call your Governors office and say "thank you". A simple search for your "state's name, contact governor" is quick and simple. I did this and made the call to the Georgia governors office in about three minutes time. And if your state did not make this decision, call them up and tell them to do so.

Can't tell you how happy I don't live in Kommiefornia any longer......AZ was one of the first to say NO!!!

My state also said no But I have to warn everyone. It's really up to The President and or Congress. They can override state governors. Also remember for states that would take them, once in-they can travel freely from state to state which is exactly what the moles would do!
What a mess our government is making!

This may not be the correct forum but we had a briefing from the LA FBI Office today on terrorism and one of the subjects that came up was who is going to be performing background checks on these Syrian refuges. The SA told us they nor any other agency has the manpower to do these besides the country they came from is so dysfunctional...in other words...no one...There are plans to bring 200 to Anaheim. She told us to be specially vigilante over the next few years....

Just be thankful you lot are in the US and not over here in Europe.
Bleeding hearted, politically correct lefty liberals are causing chaos over here....

I don't want to appear naive. I am far too crusty for that. However, if our government does something that we approve of (which is seldom) I think it prudent to let them know we approve....and loudly. If nothing changes, I believe we will see Paris style attacks in America. I have a carry license and carry always. I may start leaving the AR in the truck as well.

Its good to the see the Governors doing something, but our state members of the House and Senate had an opportunity to kill this bill in Oct., S.2145 - Middle East Refugee Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act. this bill provides $1 Billion, to care for these refugees in our country. This bill is sponsored and introduced by Lindsey Graham of N.C. and has the support of 17 other Dems., Now its time for the Governors to explain how and why they may arrive in your state any way, and you (the tax payer) will provide the means for it. like it or not

I was in Boston and looked at a statue of John Adams, one of the most vital of our founding fathers. On the statue was carved, "Patriot....Honest and Fearless". Where are todays Patriots? Just because they have Congressman or Senator before their name, does not stop them from having "Traitor" after their name.
But, enough of my soapbox. Y'all ride safe.

The Boston Bombers were invited in as asylum seekers. The younger brother applied for citizenship and was naturalized on Sept. 11, 2012. The older brother had a pending application for citizenship. These immigrants getting "citizenship" is just a
Trojan Horse technique.

I wish I could thank my Governor. Unfortunately my idiot governor said this:
“MN Governor Dayton: Don’t like immigrants, get out of Minnesota!”

We had a meeting with one of the FBI agents in charge of that investigation and she told us the older brother, they call "black hat", had been turned down for a sporting position, not sure which one, but he became distraught over it and began studying the dark side....he learned how to build a bomb off the internet.

It's always wise to check this site before repeating misinformation...

the Tsarnaev family were technically not refugees when they entered the U.S.: they arrived in the country on tourist visas and later applied for political asylum:

In December 2013, the local Boston Globe published a long-form piece about the Tsarnaevs titled "The Fall of the House of Tsarnaev." The paper held not only that the family did not enter as refugees, but that their claim for asylum was possibly of dubious merit:

While attention paid to the Tsarnaev family's manner of entry might seem to be nitpicking, the distinction is important. Refugees and political asylum seekers are tasked with proving claims of persecution in their homelands, whereas tourists can obtain entry visas issued with far less rigorous inspection:

Just tryin' to keep facts in the conversation...
