After I bought my most recent 2018 SG, I noticed that the throttle felt "gritty" and erratic when twisted slowly. This was especially noticeable when in a slow turn and you wanted to up the RPMs just a touch. as an example; It would jump from current RPM to 300-500 increase just barely twisting it.
After trying to adjust and lube several times-I had to force HD to replace under warranty. It turns out that fixed it!!! I don't know if anyone here has a similar problem but this worked for me. It's about $120 plus labor to replace if you don't have warranty. Perhaps this post can help someone-It's like riding a new bike again!
