Well put another 100+ miles on my 13 SG.

Well with the weather finally cooperating, I got out for a few hour ride today. Got to test out the fresh tune and get back in the groove. All was going well, then got home... Went in the garage and found my 14 Ultra Limited bleeding all over garage floor. Puddle of coolant under the pump housing and puddle of oil under the trans... WTH, it has a total of 189 miles on it and it's now in the shop. The service writer told me there is 3 recalls on it for leak issues. Now wouldn't it have been nice if they, I don't know, notify the owners. They can send flyers, ads, and useless junk mail, but nothing about recalls.

The only cure for stress is lots of miles on 2 wheels.

i believe that they do notify owners of this issue by mail. but i have a feeling that most people get the leaks and bring it back to dealer way before recieving a letter. when did you purchase your bike? if you recently just got it, (im assuming yes because you only just have 189 miles) they should have already gave you the updated fix for the coolant leak if they were on their game. but maybe they had bets on the over under for mileage of when you would be back! lol, the new twin cooled harleys piss coolant and are known for it. the oil leak? i havent heard of that one yet ......
