Just my 2 cents here...
It's all great to say how a burglar should be shot, and how each of us would shoot them and blah blah...but it's a totally different thing to actually shoot, much less to kill someone.
And as for right or wrong in the eyes of the law, that varies from not only state to state, but from court to court, judge to judge and jury to jury. It is left for VERY open interpretation of the law there.
In your house, not your yard. Feared for you life or another within your house, no other option (couldnt run away) etc etc. Those are key factors, yes, but still open to interpretation.
The guy asked for advice - he got good stuff for choosing a weapon for home security/personal defense. But when it comes to AFTER the incident, there is no set way, thing or action that will be taken - it always varies.
