Dealer just quoted me $990 in labor to install Rekluse automatic clutch, Motor trike reverse kit, change handle bars with heated grips, and add XM radio kit. Shud I negotiate and see if they can come down a lil bit ?

Always negotiate. I think its a little on the high side . Just labor I am guessing maybe 4-5 hrs labor. I could have the clutch swapped out in 45min that reverse gear install looks like maybe an hour and a couple hours for the bars, wiring and grips and prob an hour and half for coffee, donuts and tee brakes . I would say less than $500 but the dealer is going to take twice as long and cost twice as much. lol

Lot of work. Handlebars alone my dealer quoted 450$. Curious what you finally pay!

Well I know it seems like a lot but I don't think it's a crazy number. Around here labor rates are like $105 an hour. So the bars with internal wiring are about 5 hrs the clutch about 1-1 1/2 hrs and reverse prob an hour so I see about around 7-7 1/2 hours labor. So maybe a touch high but not crazy in my opinion

Spend some time and find yourself a good mechanic and build a relationship with him. You will get a much better value for your dollar Dealerships only go by the book and charge top dollar for not so good work.
