I know we shouldn’t mix oils. I bought my 2018 SG Special used with about 8k on her. I only use HD synthetic. I went to clean the air filter one night (didn’t have time to let it dry so put it all back together) then went to clean it today and the hose to the filter has white sludge it didn’t have before. I ride year round I. The Willamette valley Oregon so I ride through funk and rain and she is a dirty girl every day. Should I worry or clean it out with a swab, clean the filter and out her back together? Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't worry, condensation does that to oil. I'm no expert with what I'm about to say, but I had a cam done by fuel moto and they said to keep the oil level a half quart low because it keeps the oil out of the filter. I've put about 2,000 miles on it that way so far without any issues. And believe me I'm like most people when it comes to filling my fluids up to the top mark on the dipstick/level marks.

I have run mine 1/2 quart low since I had the first service and it helps with blow by build up in the air cleaner.

This is a trick I learned from a HD Tech years ago. Run 1/2 qt. less than manual specifies. Never had anymore problems with oil collecting in the air cleaner housing!
