Wind Buffeting

Hi

Been riding Ultra Classics to now the CVO SG Limited since 2005. 5 bikes to be exact. With the old-style batwing and straight up windshield, plus fairing air deflectors. Never had an issue with wind buffeting around my ears, nose and glasses. Rode 400-500 mile days with perfect surround sound with a half helmet. Now I find with the "New improved" batwing, traded in 2023 SG Ultra for my new 26 CVO SG Limited, I had to reconnect the leather neck wrap around to the half helmet which covers my ears (for buffeting) and had to buy goggles to wear over my glasses to keep the wind off of my nose and glasses. I stand 5'10" with stock saddle. I was hoping the new stock windshield would make a difference. Nope. I replaced the stock windshield on the 2026 with the 8" Wind Splitter" from the 2023. Still too much buffeting.

I feel the issue is, HD blew it with the new angled windshield and no fairing air deflectors!

Anybody else with this issue, and how and were you able to remedy it?

Thanks

2025 SG Ultra here with an 8" wind splitter and tallboy seat. 5"10" also. Slide the top vent all the way to the top. I get zero buffeting so maybe the seat makes a difference but I know the vent being level or closed causes some buffeting. My Ultra also has the wings on the forks which come std with this model. You can add them for like $18.00 each Harley OEM part.

I've got the CVO too. I put on the 8 inch and it works for me. You may have to go to the 10 inch>.
There are fairing air deflectors but probably not large enough. The Road Glide has better deflectors, I think.
You could try those. Post photos when you can.
