Wind Splitter 8" Windshield for 2024 Street Glide (Review)

I stopped at a Harley dealership yesterday at put the 10” on. It did nothing to stop the air and now I can’t see because of the distortion. I see 3 different white lines looking through it, or I have to sit way up to look over. I’m going to put the 8” back on and mail the 10” home after the UPS store opens at 11:00. I’ve been angry over it for the last 2 days. 32,000 or so with accessories is disappointing. Hopefully today I can calm down and just ride. The TAB bam sticks with zombie baffles sound great anyway.

I wonder how much it would cost to trade this one in for a 2023?

I wish the higher shields were dark smoke. I guess I’ll wait to see what aftermarket comes up with. I definitely need something to get the wind off my face. Love the bike though.

The fairing and windshields are different this year. None of the old parts will fit.

I checked their website. None listed for the SG but they do have it for the RG. Thanks anyways.

I recently purchased a 2024 Street Glide and after seeing the distortion in the Windsplitter I checked-in with Freedom Shields about their availability. Engineering indicates they hope to have new windshields for the 2024 SG by early fall.

I recently switched to a 10" clear Freedom Shield, which is actually a bit shorter and narrower than the Wind Splitter but gets the job done as well if not better and is free of the distracting recurve distortion. Truth be told, I actually prefer the look of the Wind Splitter and it absolutely got the job done but for me the Freedom Shield was the way to go.

It's for my '24 but it'll fit '25s as well. I can't take a picture of it right now since I'm at work and didn't take the bike today but I'll try to remember to post a picture or two when I get home tonight. How does it affect the wind on the sides? I know on my ride the touring width one, besides pushing up over me, also pushes it further away on the sides.
