WTB Stock antenna line for '14+
I installed a hidden antenna and love it. Did not pull the whip antenna cable out yet because I wasn't sure how the hidden would work. I can pull the cable out for you now that I know I'm sticking with the hidden antenna. Might not be able to do it till next weekend tho if you can wait. Mine is a 2015 so I'm sure it is the same.

I would check the rear connection .. my dealer said they have a way of loosening up where it connects at the antenna mount.
The rear connection was in fact loose, but even after tightening the collar at the connection, the reception doesn't seem any better. That's why I'm taking the next troubleshooting step to give another line a try.
Sivart, I just moved from Kent (East Hill) down to Seal Beach, Ca and I had the hidden antenna on my '14 SGS. It worked pretty good up there but down here it really sucks. I'm thinking of going back to the oem and getting rid of the hidden antenna but I'm afraid of not watching what I'm doing and poking myself in the eye with that long antenna so I'm considering trying out the shorty, hoping that will be better than the hidden antenna.
Looks like Sunday will be the day I have some time to get the cable off my bike for you. I'll get with you after I get it removed so I can make arrangements to send it to you.
